rain gear

Come rain or shine I’m swimming!! We just found a lovely apartment in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn to rent. We love it. It’s on a lovely quiet block, all brownstones. We’re in a second floor walk up. It’s sunny and full of character. I might have to start posting my new obsessions about design and decor. I can’t wait to get the place looking like home. Stay tuned for updates! And now for the rain gear:

I love these amazing Senz wind resistant umbrellas (up to 70mph!). They’re aerodynamic and great aesthetically to boot. Oh and speaking of boots, I adore my Tretorn waterproof boots in rose. I wear them all the time (they were procured out of necessity during an ice/rain last month in which my un-sensible flats got drenched and my feet too). They’re cute, quite comfy, waterproof, as well as lined. For men these Hunter original wellies are cool looking and functional. They seem like something Prince Wills might don. Oh and I just saw these cute Hunter’s for women with free fleece socks for the insides, oh cozy…on Shopbop.

I know. I need to get one. Mine are always breaking. These seem really sturdy and they’re so very cool looking.
