Good Grace

Armas Design recently posted about this wonderful little etsy shop, Good Grace, offering a keenly curated collection of vintage pieces that are beautifully photographed to boot.

I thought to myself, “oh I ought to take a peek…just for the sake of blogging.” Really though, in my mind I should know better. I should know I have no control. I should learn to cognitively restructure. Could you walk into a cute bake shop just to take a peek? Probably not. You’d go in, catch a whiff, and then 15 cookies later be in a sugar coma.

Same goes for me, and likewise with vintage shopping. For example, I’ve been thinking about riding boots for a while but decided to hold off since we just moved and need to pay rent and buy home decor goodies. Nonetheless, I passed an adorable thrift shop in my hood and came out with a pair of chocolate brown riding boots that are just darling. Oops. Anyway, the plaid secretary shirt in the center is mine. It was only $16…oh, the guilt.

Samanta - you are a DOLL! Thanks sooo much for including the Good Grace shop on your blog. I love the analogy to a bake shop! (can you tell I love cupcakes? my Etsy avatar is a cupcake!)

So glad you like it. Cloths , candy, cupcakes….my favorite alliteration!

Joanna, I just saw that you posted about them too! I’m happy we’re all on the same page out here in the blogosphere. That trench is fantastic…snatch it up! Then we should take photos of ourselves in our new gear and post again. Have a beautiful weekend!!
