Erin’s announcement post with info about the wonderful project.

My bedroom made it into the last issue “Inspiring corners of your home“.

Erin is an amazingly wonderful and supportive person who has been so encouraging to me to launch my patterns. I can’t begin to express how wonderful I think she is and how sincerely passionate she is about inspiring all of us.

I love all the work in this issue but am especially drawn to the dreamy quality of the three photos above. The last one is by a 14 year old…watch out world. Here’re the artist’s sites:

Juma: Beautiful and wearable clothing

Juma

A lovely set of siblings recently contacted me to let me know about their beautiful clothing line Juma. It’s so well designed and wearable. I love the patterned pieces and would love to have some of their eco-friendly cotton pieces.

Alia and Jamil Juma founded JUMA with a commitment to quality and innovation. The line has a downtown look that is refined giving it an elegant street sensibility. Their line is carried in coveted retailers including Fred Segal, By George, Caravan and many others.

Modern Radar: Beautiful handmade bags, cards, & earrings

modern radar

Modern Radar is a lovely company in North Carolina. Their beautiful products are screen-printed & sewn. I need to learn silk screening….someday. They try to employ the best quality recycled or vintage materials to create, package, and ship their gorgeous goods.

I would love to carry around that lovely swallow tote and send my friends some greetings on their colorful and quirky cards.
