“Tree Huts, an installation by Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata, seeks to explore the architecture of shelter and the idea of placing what is decidedly a private place, a home, into a public space, Madison Square Park, and encouraging conversation about the meaning of both.”
My husband works in the famous Flatiron Building outside Madison Square Park (near the Shake Shack). I assigned him the mission of snapping a few shots so you can see them.

Tree Huts will remain in Madison Square Park through the end of the year. So come for a visit.
