My friend David Palmer who I met a Surtex a few years back is a multi-talented artist easily flitting back and forth between fine and commercial art. His latest project is a unique wallpaper for Rollout. I’m super excited to find out about them from David. What a cool company. Anyway, David’s paper is a not the typical brocade or floral print…but rather a visual interpretation of worth.
I think it would look amazing in a kitchen or a giant wall in a loft. I love the black ground with the white scribblings, numbers and drawings. Looks like it came from the mind of a mad scientist, or mad farmer, or a mad economist….or maybe a tribrid of all of the above.

Hi Samantha, thanks so much for writing about our wallpaper!
This was a collaboration w/ ROLLOUT for an exhibition in Toronto, called Radiant Dark 2010, that ran concurrently with the Toronto International Design Festival from January 21-24. The theme of this year’s exhibition was Assets & Values, and our 3-panel entry was titled “Oh, that explains everything”.
