Bon Voyage!

bon voyage

I have never been so busy in all my life. I had three freelance projects to complete before today! I got them in..fhew. I’ve been staying up past midnight though and getting up for work at 5:30-ugh. I’m sure I will have tweaks to make when I get back from the long weekend at my husband’s college reunion. I can’t wait to chill with Henry away from my desk and drawing table. I just want to cuddle him all weekend. I hope you have a good one.

XO.

p.s Huge congratulations to my girlfriend Joanna who just had a little baby! I just saw her a week ago and now she’s a mama too!

sailing away

I’m so swamped with freelance projects right now (+ job + baby + husband + other stuff). I love love love when it gets busy like this, I’m doing what I love, but it’s hard to juggle. Right now I’m trying to get everything done in time for the weekend so we’ll be ready to sail away (proverbially).

Don’t think I ever shared this pattern with you??

Memorial Day outfit

I’m going to my husband’s college reunion this weekend in Amherst, Massachusetts. We’ll go to his old haunts and loll about on the pretty campus. I’ll most likely wear stuff like a simple striped henley paired with jeans and perhaps some comfy gladiator sandals…I guess I have not changed too much from my own college days. I wish I had an easy wardrobe full of simple and elegant pieces like these that work for any place and time:

  1. Rebecca Taylor: Easy breesy dress
  2. Made Her Think: Spike rhinestone studs
  3. Erie Basin: 1890’s cameo ring
  4. Marc By Marc Jacobs: Turnlock bag

*Here’s what I wore on Memorial day a few years back.
