I’ve been having fun lately turning watercolor pieces into repeats.

Off beat holiday outfit and gift

off beat holiday outfit

We have a bunch of holiday parties to attend this season. Instead of wearing a dress to each, I think I’ll try a silk shirt and some high waisted black pants + high heels. With those simple, clean lines I think it would be so fun to jazz it all up with some glittery polish and a dazzling clutch. I’d love to come bearing a cool gift like this Out of Print notebook featuring a classic book cover too:

  1. Rebecca Taylor puffed sleeve blouse
  2. Alice + Olivia Paula high waisted pants with belt
  3. Deborah Lippman boom boom pow gold glitter nail laquer
  4. Anya Hindmarch Valerie glitter gold clutch (sparkle up your look!)
  5. Hoss suade platform pump (I love that two tone)

Forest Feast: A NY food photographer moves to the woods

Forest Feast
One of my dear friends/amazing photographer Erin Gleeson just started a new and addictive blog called forest feast with delectable treats photographed in her signature naturalistic style and accompanied by lovely lettered recipes and genius cooking and prep ideas.

Here’re more details in Erin’s own words:

After 10 years of living in New York City, last summer my husband got a job in the Bay Area so we packed up our lives and headed west. For a big change of pace, we opted for a cabin in the woods 20 minutes outside of town. In New York I worked as a food photographer and after spending a little time amongst the redwoods of Northern California, I found that my recipes, home cooking and photography have all been inspired by local produce and the forest around me.

So friends I’ll leave you for the rest of the week while I go enjoy some quality time with the family I’m so thankful for this Thanksgiving. I wish you all the love in the world. Signing off till next week. XO.
