I recently worked on over 40 illustrations/hand lettering for this wine book for the beautiful publishing company, Assouline. I’m a fan of their books including my gorgeous Botanicals art book. The below quote from Marie Claire perfectly describes the contents of the book. Wouldn’t it be a great host/hostess gift? I plan to give one to my friend Joanna who loves cheese and wine.
Here’s a hand lettered quote I did for Glamour Magazine but it got axed. These things happen. Still, I totally agree with Audrey’s sentiments don’t you?!

Admittedly I’ve joined the nail polish cult. I just think it’s fun and fresh that so many unique ideas are popping up. Are you bored of all the nail polish posts?
I love nautical things and grabbed some polishes out of my collection to try my hand at a reverse French (*disclaimer, this is hard to do on yourself!). I need practice for sure but I like the mix of these two colors. Do you think you’d try it or is it too much?! Any nail polish trends I should know about? Do tell.

I was literally just telling friends how I think I’ll attend some shows next fashion week (Sept.) to snap some photos and do some fun interpretations of my favorite looks on the runways and off (I would love to grab some snaps of editors and street style photographers en route).
So it’s perfect timing that I stumbled across the amazingly fun work of Damien Florébert Cuypers from London Fashion week via the NYX Magazine blog. What makes these perfect in addition to the whimsical way they’re drawn is the hilarious descriptions of the subject’s mood and look.
