Come next week New Yorkers will be back in full swing for fashion week. So let’s savor one final weekend of summer before madness ensues. I’m signing off today. See you next week.

Perfect looks for fashion week madness

Fashion week is coming up and I’m chafing at the bit. I’ve decided not to plan what to wear but to go with my instincts each day. Still, these looks, to me, are perfection. The girls look comfortable and effortlessly chic:

One Kings Lane sale!!

Happy to announce another One Kings Lane sale with some new pieces available (some are available printed on canvas)! I love that they come framed and in large format! All you have to do is hang them on your wall. Easy peasy.

I’m excited to actually be attending this year…for work…more on that later. I have no idea what to wear. While I feel totally confident in my taste and aesthetic it’s tough to dress myself. I’m admiring these looks right now, maybe I should copy them or maybe I’ll panic and wear sweats and a t-shirt…sigh:

I’m taken with these food photographs that draw all of your focus in on the food leaving the surrounding areas dark. Perfect chiaroscuro!! They’re just beautiful and frankly are making me hungry:

  2. root veggies via stylesight
  3. figs, deep fried babybels and walnuts via LRF

I hope you have a lovely weekend. We’ve been trying to socialize and chill out a bit as the storm of autumn work and fashion week are approaching. I frankly can’t wait to work on certain projects on the horizen but it’s been good to work at a slower pace the last week or so as clients live out the last leg of their own summer vacations.
