Vintage femme fatales
I got totally absorbed by these incredible vintage mug shots of ladies. The captions about their crimes are just as captivating as the photographs and subjects themselves.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

No man really knows about other human beings. The best he can do is to suppose that they are like himself.

We’re snuggled up at home on this blustery snow day. Henry’s out from school with a little something. We’re looking out the window at the powder whooshing around in all directions attempting to blot out all the neighborhood colors. It’s actually kind of magical. Isn’t it amazing how snow blankets the other noise in your life and you just become grateful to be tucked in and witness to winters beauty? This is what I love about winter.
“What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.”

I adore these fruit prints! How great.
Hope you all had a lovely week. Mine flew by. I actually can’t believe how fast it went. We moved last week and already we feel settled in our new place. There’s still so much to set up. I’m hoping to put up some art this weekend. My plan is to keep it minimal. I don’t want every wall to look like a salon wall. I want a more serene feeling overall. It’s really hard to pare down when it comes to art. I have so many things I’d love to hang. I’ll share photos once we’ve finished everything.
Enjoy your weekend!
