I had fun illustrating this story for New York Observer (July 28th issue) about 50,000 First Dates: Online Dating Makes Finding a Partner in NYC Harder Than Ever. I agree, dating is hard. I’m so beyond lucky and thrilled to have found my husband/soulmate in this sea of people. Turns out we met at camp when we were 5 years old and only discovered this when we came across a group photo from that summer. Small world after all. Despite how hard dating can be in NYC, I do believe if you really really want to meet someone and are looking for a true relationship, you will find it even if it does take 50K dates.
