I was surprised to find out that Maquette has been put into the running for top 25 fashion & beauty moms in Circle of Moms. Glad someone told me ; )

Last night I attended a celebration for the launch of the Jason Wu for Target collection with my bestie Violet. There were some adorable pieces. Violet got the blush blouse above. Fyi, these snapshots were take with my iphone so don’t expect any Garance quality here. The best part of the whole evening (aside from the cloths + company) was the Laduree counter. Oh my gosh do I love macarons.

In the doldrums of winter I dream of warm sunlight on my face. These yellow items would definitely warm up my day! Happy Monday.

I felt like having a bold pop of color on my nails this week. It’s getting so chilly in New York and so gray…color always livens things up.

Here’s what I used:

Essie:
Geranium orange
Chinchilly gray

Next I’d like to try yellow and gray, another of my favorite color combos. I might try this yellow. What do you think?

I’ve never ever had more work on my drawing table than right now. This will be a busy few weeks. Tonight after putting Henry to bed we snuck out for a quick date at the Morgan and Artisanal. It was really really nice. Now back to work! Have a great weekend.
